GIS Day Registration
Join us for GIS Day on November 17, 2021.  There will be two sessions during the day that will be Zoom webinars.  Register below for either session or both.  

SESSION 1  11:00am - 12:00pm  - How Data and GIS Can Support Your Business
Troy Rosencrants and Nic Custer of the Office of Economic Development at the University of Michigan-Flint will discuss use cases of GIS and data in supporting businesses.  Sue Peters, Program Officer from the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, will also join to discuss data needs and potential uses in grantmaking for small businesses in our community.

SESSION 2   2:00pm - 3:00pm - Leveraging GIS and Data in Placemaking
Joe Schipani will present how the Flint Public Art Project assists with placemaking and drives community and economic development in Flint.  In addition, he will be joined by Christina Irwin from the City of Grand Blanc to discuss the expansion of the project into Grand Blanc and plans for the future.  Damon Ross, program officer at the Community Foundation of Greater Flint will present on the Neighborhood Small Grants program and how GIS/data help those grants with placemaking.
